bullet  General Notes:

In their younger years, Tom and his brother Willie lived at Pine Point, Lot 36, Huron Township, Bruce County, Ontario. They ran a post office and a carriage shop. Tom handled the woodwork and Willie did the ironwork.

Uncle Tom was a great hunter, especially geese. He liked to take a drink, but didn't want anyone to know. Came out to Jim's place and got out of his Model T Ford. Had to hang on to it. "He was a tough old sucker" according to Joyce McBurney. 1,15
